I know what you mean, From my vague understanding, it seems like the Illuminati are supposed to be the more secretive and powerful of the two, and are said to secretly rule the world, while the Freemasons, if anything, have a smaller scope of rule. Also, if they are thought to be connected, then how so? Are the Freemasons supposed to be a branch of the Illuminati or something?
